Department of Community Medicine PhD Admissions and Performance Standards Admission to the doctoral program is limited to a few highly qualified and motivated candidates. External applicants will be admitted directly into the PhD program. Others may come from within the ranks of the MPH degree student body. An above average minimum undergraduate GPA will be required for applicants to be eligible for admission to the program. The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) will be used to screen applicants.
