Department of Community Medicine PhD Admissions and Performance Standards Admission to the doctoral program is limited to a few highly qualified and motivated candidates. We will admit an initial class of 6 students per year until we graduate the first PhD class. External applicants will be admitted directly into the PhD program. Others may come from within the ranks of the MPH degree student body (83 currently enrolled). An above average minimum undergraduate GPA will be required for applicants to be eligible for admission to the program. The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or equivalent graduate level standardized test will be used to screen applicants. For such tests the scores must be less than 5 years old. More Information |
