Bill Reger-Nash, EdD
Educational Programs
Dr. Bill Reger-Nash earned his doctoral degree in exercise physiology from WVU in 1984. His dissertation focused on exercise and appetite. He has master's degrees in educational psychology and political science from the University of Hawaii. His undergraduate degree is in French.
Public health experience includes serving as the director of the Bayer Community Wellness Program, a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates Health and Human Services Committee, and extensive work in worksite wellness. Presently, Dr. Reger-Nash's research focuses on the use of paid media to communicate messages to entire communities. He has been collaborating with the Center for Science in the Public Interest, an advocacy organization that promotes healthy eating. His latest media-based campaign targets the promotion of walking.
Dr. Reger-Nash's interests include holistic wellness, meditation, bicycling and sailing.
