Department of Community Medicine Assistant Professor Dr. Juhua Luo is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Medicine at WVU. She received her PhD degree in epidemiology from Karolinska Institutet in Sweden, M.S. in biostatistics from Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine, and B.S. in mathematics in Beijing Normal University. Prior to joining WVU, she served as a faulty member in Beijing Normal University, and as an associate research professor in Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Dr. Luo’s teaching interests include cancer epidemiology, and applied biostatistics. Her current research interests include cancer epidemiology and prevention, health disparities in underserved populations, and epidemiology methods. |
