Thaddeus Herzog, PhD

Thaddeus Herzog is an Associate Professor in the Department of Community Medicine.  He earned his Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Harvard University.  His research has focused on motivation to quit smoking for both adolescents and adults.  He also has a general interest in stage models of health behavior change.  Dr. Herzog’s research has been funded by the National Cancer Institute, National Institute on Drug Abuse, and American Cancer Society.

Dr. Herzog currently has R01 funding from the National Cancer Institute to test a new stage model of smoking cessation in the context of an intervention trial.
