Preparing for the MPH Practicum

Prior to registering for the practicum proposal course, students must complete the following tasks:

• Complete and submit the Plan of Study form, located at http://www.hsc.wvu.edu/som/cmed/education/forms/index.asp. (This should be completed with your faculty advisor and submitted after your first semester in the program.)
  
  
  
• Attend a practicum information session.
  
  
• Meet with the Practicum Director.
  Note:  Departmental approval is required for registration in the proposal class.  This must be attained from the Practicum Director.
  
  
• Potential practicum students are strongly encouraged to respond to listserve messages pertaining to the practicum as well as attend student practicum presentations, offered at the end of each semester.
