MPH Practicum Timing

Because all core courses must be taken prior to or concurrently with the practicum proposal course, it is recommended that students register for the proposal course during their third full-time semester. 

Although most students complete the entire eight-credit-hour practicum process over two semesters (the two-credit-hour proposal in one semester and the three-credit-hour practicum and three-credit-hour report in the following semester), some students elect to spread the practicum work over a longer period of time.
