Mission and Goals
The mission of the West Virginia University Eye Institute is to restore vision and prevent blindness by providing state-of-the-art medical and surgical eye care, finding new treatments through research, providing education for everyone involved in eye care, rehabilitation for those who have lost vision and community outreach to identify and treat eye disease.
