Symposium to honor Dr. Nyles Charon

Dr. Nyles Charon has been an internationally recognized leader in the field of spirochetology for many years. Nyles will be celebrating his 65th birthday on September 13, 2008.
A committee has been formed (see below) to organize a symposium to recognize Nyles’ accomplishments as he reaches this birthday “milestone”.

The Department of Microbiology and Immunology at West Virginia University is hosting the event which, because of Nyles’ sabbatical, has been tentatively scheduled for June 5th and 6th, 2009 in Morgantown, WV.
