POSITION AVAILABLE/OPEN POSITION/PHD CANDIDATE/POSTDOC POSITION

The Department of Orthopaedics at West Virginia University (WVU) is currently recruiting for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position. The selected candidate will carry out research that focuses on ionic liquids, phase change materials, solid sorbents, chemistry synthesis, and nanotechnology. This position requires strong background in nanotechnology, chemical synthesis, and material characterization. The position also requires team-playing, strong publication history (minimum six publications) and good written skills. The selected candidate may be asked to assist in mentoring graduate and undergraduate students. Interested applicants with a PhD degree in Chemistry, Material Science and/or Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field are encouraged to apply. The position is for one year but may be extended depending on performance of the candidate and funding availability.
