The Division of Occupational Therapy has a long tradition of educating quality occupational therapists. With your support, the Division can offer new and expanded learning opportunities for our students. Here are a few facts that you may not realize about how gifts are used to improve occupational therapy education.

1. Your monetary gift to the University through The WVU Foundation can be directed to the program of your choice. You can specify that you want your financial gift to go directly to the Division of Occupational Therapy.
   
   
2. Your gift to the Division supports educational opportunities for our students. With the rapidly changing nature of health care, it is difficult for the Division to keep up with changes in occupational therapy equipment and products. Your gift helps us to purchase items such as: modality equipment, casting and splinting materials, treatment tables, and exercise equipment.
   
   
3. You can specify how you wish your gift to be used. For instance, you can specify that you want your gift to be used to support Pro Bono Lifespan Clinic, where students have an opportunity to work with faculty in a clinical setting. You can specify that you want your gift to be used for educational supplies.
   
   
4. Your gift can be as small as you wish. We understand that it is difficult to make large donations. You can help the Division by making a donations as small as $10.00.
   
   
5. You can support the Division's mission in a number of ways besides financially. We need alumni to serve as CI's, start new affiliations, serve on committees, provide prospective students with information, give a presentation at a Division sponsored CE course.
