The Division of Occupational Therapy prides itself on offering low cost high quality continuing education to Occupational Therapists as well as other health professionals. Continuing education is a critical part of the Division's mission and goals.

"July 17- 18th , 2009 Review of the Wrist and Hand: Anatomy and Function With Prosected Cadaver Lab"
This limited enrollment class will offer the participant an intense 2 day review of the anatomy of the hand and wrist including review of prosected cadavers. Content will focus on the boney, muscular, ligamentous and nervous structures of the hand and wrist. Emphasis will be placed on the functional anatomical components including the extensor compartment, extensor mechanism and carpal tunnel. The course will use a case based approach to understand the anatomical foundations of common wrist/hand pathologies. This course offers a low teacher to participant ratio and opportunity to observe the wrist and hand structures in a gross anatomy lab.

Participants in this course will be provided with documentation of 13 contact hours of continuing education or 1.3 CEU’s.
