The Division of Occupational Therapy prides itself on offering low cost high quality continuing education to Occupational Therapists as well as other health professionals. Continuing education is a critical part of the Division's mission and goals.

"July 25 & 26, 2008. Review of the Shoulder Complex: Anatomy and Function. With Prosected Cadaver Lab"

Summer, July 2008. Comprehensive Shoulder Anatomy Review.
This limited enrollment class will offer the participant an intense 2.5 day review of the anatomy of the shoulder including review of prosected cadavers. Content will focus on the bony, nerve, ligamentous, soft tissue, and muscular structures of the shoulder complex as well as common structural deficits. This course offers a low teacher to participant ratio and opportunity to observe the shoulder structure in a gross anatomy lab
Participants in this course will be provided with documentation of 15 hours of continuing education contact hours or 1.5 CEU's.

Fall 2008, Division of Occupational Therapy 2nd Rehabilitation Symposium, Feeding and Eating.
This multi-disciplinary symposium will cover lifespan issues of feeding and eating in multiple environments.
