Dr. Mark Armeni, a native of Youngstown, Ohio, attended Hiram College in Hiram, Ohio, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from The Ohio State University and then completed specialty training in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. Because of his interest in facial plastic surgery, he spent a year in fellowship training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery under the auspices of Stephen W. Perkins, MD, FACS, a renowned and active member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery; the time spent was strictly devoted to cosmetic surgery of the face, eyes, ears, nose and scalp.
He has been a member of the West Virginia University Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery since 1994. He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
