A 43 year-old man with cough, hemoptysis and shortness of breath

Gross Description
The specimen was received in the gross room labeled “tracheal mass” for frozen section. The specimen consisted of a single fragment of pink-hemorrhagic soft tissue measuring 0.2cm in greatest dimension. The specimen was entirely submitted for frozen section analysis.
