A 12 year old boy with a pineal region tumor

Imaging Studies
A CT of the brain revealed a 2.6 x 2.5 x 2.4 cm contrast enhancing, large pineal region mass with coarse calcifications and a cystic component. Hydrocephalus with effacement of the sulci was also identified.

An MRI of the brain revealed a pineal region, contrast enhancing mass measuring 3.0 x 2.8 x 2.7 cm.
