The Mountain Cystic Fibrosis Center is pleased to have gained re-accreditation from the national Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, after a two year period without accreditation. The Center Director is Kathryn S. Moffett, M.D. Other center physicians include Martin Weisse, M.D., and some of the adult pulmonologists.

The Mountain State CF Center works as team to care for 100 patients from West Virginia, SE Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Western Maryland. Linda Baer, R.N. is the clinic coordinator, and serves as patient advocate, study coordinator for research studies, and maintains continuity between the pediatric and adult parts of the team. Other members of our team include respiratory therapy, social service, dietitian, and physical therapy. We continue to be involved in several research studies with the pediatric CF patients.
