Thank you for your interest in our residency program. WVU Children's Hospital is the state-of-the-art facility for women and children located within Ruby Memorial Hospital, a premier university hospital on the Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center Campus in Morgantown. Our faculty physicians represent virtually all of the medical and surgical subspecialties within the field of pediatrics. Our department is well balanced between primary and specialty care providing resident trainees with excellent integration of these experiences on site.

 Our residents are an important component of our physician staff. Faculty and residents enjoy a collegial working relationship enhancing the educational experience. We have been fortunate to recruit and attract individuals of high quality from across the country. We look forward to hearing from you and hope that we will be able to arrange a visit with us. We are more than happy to discuss your professional goals and interests with you in person, by phone, or though electronic mail. In addition to our categorical pediatric residency, we also offer a 4 year combined residency in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics.
The Department of Pediatrics participates in the NRMP via the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). We require the following information as part of the ERAS application process: completed application form, USMLE scores, certified copy of medical school transcript, Dean's Letter from medical school, and three letters of recommendation, including one from a pediatric faculty member.
