Welcome to the West Virginia University Division of Physical Therapy. I am very proud of the physical therapy education program at West Virginia University, which has the unique benefit of being part of a department in the School of Medicine. | The Department of Human Performance and Applied Exercise Science consists not only of the Division of Physical Therapy, but also includes the Divisions of Exercise Physiology and Occupational Therapy. This administrative arrangement expands the Division’s resources and opportunities for students.
We have 32 years of experience in professional physical therapy education and have been recognized both within and outside the University for our high quality program. Our students, faculty, and staff belong to something bigger than just themselves... and we're happy to share this tradition of excellence by serving the public, the profession, and you.
