Narrative:
Dr. Jones is a physical therapist with a doctoral degree in chronic disease epidemiology. She joined the faculty at West Virginia University in July 2004 after completing a postdoctoral fellowship in the Division of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Jones has faculty appointments in both the Department of Orthopaedics and the Division of Physical Therapy at WVU. Her current research program focuses on assessing physical activity levels in individuals with osteoarthritis of the knee and total knee arthroplasty.

Dr. Jones’ research interests focus on physical activity, knee osteoarthritis, total hip and knee arthroplasty, rehabilitation interventions in individuals with rheumatic diseases, epidemiology, and fibromyalgia.

Dr. Jones serves as a guest lecturer and course instructor in the DPT Physical Therapy Program at WVU. In addition, she supervises physical therapy students in the Lifespan Mobility Clinic and serves as a faculty advisor for student research projects.
