The Section of Digestive Disease, Department of Medicine, at West Virginia University invites applications from Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist/Hepatologists for two faculty positions at the Assistant/Associate Professor Level. Responsibilities include teaching of residents and medical students and patient care. Opportunities are available for those interested in clinical/basic research.
Digestive Diseases Faculty has access to a well established referral base, a highly developed outreach program, as well as highly advanced technological resources, all of which lend support.
The Section of Digestive Diseases has active basic and clinical research programs. Candidates with research interests are strongly encouraged to apply. Endoscopy Suite facilities include state of the art rooms and equipment, dedicated space for ERCPs, adjacent clinics, dedicated research laboratories, and administrative office space.
