Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center of West Virginia University, Department of Medicine is seeking a clinical faculty member to join the Section of Nephrology. Individuals must be board certified in Medicine and board eligible/certified in Nephrology. Responsibilities include teaching of residents and medical students and patient care. Opportunities are available for those interested in clinical/basic research.
The Section provides a full range of clinical services to patients in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, including seven rural dialysis centers through the WV Rural Nephrology Initiative. An active End-of-Life Palliative Care Program is also offered, as well as aggressive Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and Anemia Management clinics.
Faculty members within the Department of Medicine are affiliated with West Virginia University Hospitals, Inc. The Clinical Enterprise at WVU provides Faculty the benefits of practicing at a level 1 trauma center and the premier tertiary, referral center for the state of West Virginia.
