Hospitalist

Academic General Internal Medicine: Clinical emphasis track, faculty hospitalist position. Applicants must be board-eligible/board-certified in Internal Medicine. This position involves significant teaching and clinical service with several months of hospital-based medicine and, when off service, limited attending in residents' general internal medicine continuity clinic. The successful candidate must have the potential to enhance skills in teaching and scholarly activity. Responsibilities include medical student and resident education. Opportunities exist for those interested in basic/clinical research.
Colleagues include twenty current members of the Section of General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics who provide extensive teaching, clinical care, and administrative service. Scholarly activities of Section members are closely aligned with teaching and service roles that include ambulatory, consultative, geriatric, and hospital medicine, as well as women's health. All activities of the position are at the Health Sciences Center campus in Morgantown, West Virginia.
