West Virginia University School of Medicine, Department of Neurology, is seeking a fellowship-trained neurologist to join a comprehensive Academic Epilepsy Program. The successful candidate will be board eligible/certified and should have experience with intracranial recordings and pre-surgical evaluation of patients with intractable seizures.

West Virginia University Hospital maintains a Level IV Comprehensive Epilepsy Program designated by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers (NAEC) with a very busy epilepsy-monitoring unit and an active surgical program. The Epilepsy Center at WVU includes hardwired video-EEG monitoring units for both adults and pediatrics. The facility also features neuroimaging support including spectroscopic MRI and quantitative PET scans. Faculty from Neurosurgery, Neuroradiology, Child Neurology, Neuropsychiatry and a dedicated epilepsy nurse specialist presently staff the Epilepsy Surgery Team.
