Cerebrovascular Neurologist

West Virginia University School of Medicine, Department of Neurology, is seeking a fellowship-trained neurologist to join a comprehensive Academic Stroke Program. The successful candidate will be board eligible/certified and additional training and interest in neurocritical care is welcome. Responsibilities include clinical care, research and teaching.
West Virginia University Hospital maintains a JCAHO Primary Stroke Accreditation Program. The Stroke Team serves as the core for the multi-department Comprehensive Stroke Program. The facility also features neuroimaging support including spectroscopic MRI and quantitative PET scans. Faculty from Neurosurgery, Neuroradiology, Neurology, Neuropsychiatry, Emergency Department, and a dedicated stroke nurse specialist presently staff the Stroke Team.
