West Virginia University School of Medicine, a state-of-the-art facility with strong institutional support, is seeking a general
radiologist. WVU is seeking an American Board Certified radiologist to join the current team of radiologists. Candidate status can be a
recent graduate of a strong teaching program, assistant professor, associate professor or full professorship. Candidates must
have an interest in teaching as the school cultivates an excellent environment for research and teaching.
The WVU Department of Radiology is a leader in electronic imaging with all examinations in the diagnostic section acquired digitally and accessed via a GE PACS system. The Advanced Imaging Center has a Siemens Biograph 16 PET-CT Scanner, a
GE Signa 1.5T MR, a GE 1.5T twin-speed MR, a Siemens Avanto 1.5T MR and a GE 3T MR. The department has an outstanding
reputation for excellence in teaching, graduating a cadre of physicians every year, thus creating an excellent opportunity for
research and teaching.
