The West Virginia University School of Medicine, a state-of-the-art facility with strong institutional support, is seeking a Nuclear Medicine radiologist. WVU is seeking an American Board-Certified radiologist to join the current team of radiologists. Candidate status can be a recent graduate of a strong teaching program, assistant professor, associate professor or full professorship. Candidates must have an interest in teaching as the school cultivates an excellent environment for research and teaching.
The WVU Department of Radiology is a leader in electronic imaging with all examinations in the diagnostic section acquired digitally and accessed via a GE PACS system. Nuclear Medicine also includes a Siemens Nuclear Medicine Lab containing five cameras and two SPECT CTs, Siemens Biograph PET/CT, and Philips time-of-flight PET/CT. The department has an outstanding reputation for excellence in teaching and research.
