Anesthesia Interest Group

Mission Statement:

The Anesthesia Interest Group was created to meet the interests and needs of WVU School of Medicine medical students who are interested in the field of Anesthesiology. We will organize meetings and workshops designed to facilitate the learning and discussion of topics related to the practice of Anesthesiology and applying for Anesthesia externships and residencies.

By Laws:

• The Anesthesia Interest Group is a nonprofit, student-run organization at the WVU School of Medicine.
• Any student currently enrolled in West Virginia University School of Medicine is eligible for membership.
• The AIG will be governed by members of the group that consists of President, VP, Secretary, Treasurer, and Social Representative. Officers will be selected at the 1st meeting of the year.
• AIG will meet monthly/bimonthly during the school year.
