Orthopaedic Interest Group

Background:

The Orthopaedic Interest Group was formed in the spring of 2009. The goal of this group is to give students interested in the field of Orthopedics exposure and access to this surgical subspecialty early on in their medical school careers. Activities include operating room and clinic experiences, as well as monthly meetings with physicians from different sub-specialities within Orthopaedics. Students also have the ability to take voluntary nights of call with residents to respond to orthopaedic related trauma.
