Rosie Cannarella, MD
Assistant Dean
Rosie Cannarella, MD is a Follansbee, WV native and a graduate of the West Virginia University School of Medicine Class of 1979. She completed an internship in Pediatrics, and a residency in Family Medicine at West Virginia University Hospitals in 1982.
She is currently an Associate Professor of Family Medicine, and co-founder of the Rural Family Medicine Program based in Harpers Ferry, WV where she has practiced since 1982 with classmate K.C. Nau, MD.
She was appointed Assistant Dean for Student Services in the Eastern Division of the West Virginia University School of Medicine in 2002. Dr. Canarrella lives with her husband, Ralph, and two sons.
