Pam Carico

Academic Advisor

Pam Carico has worked in the School of Medicine Office of Student Services since 1984, serving as the Academic Advisor since that time. Her primary responsibilities include advising students in academic and professional matters, (sometimes even personal needs), oversight of Student Services events, assisting with student organizations, and management of the Office of Student Services. Prior to coming to Student Services, she worked with the Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry for five years.

Pam is a more than 20 year West Virginia transplant from Tennessee and Louisiana. She and her husband, Mike, live in the mountains of Monongalia County on the top of Snake Hill Road. They are enjoying their empty nest and staying busy with their church ministries while parenting two adult daughters who reside in New Mexico and Ohio.
