FREIDA
This is a reference for residency programs in the USA. It will give you a list and basic statistics on programs by specialty and geographic region.
Find A Resident
Program sponsored by the AAMC which helps students find a residency program, and programs find a candidate. This site is specially designed to assist unmatched candidates and programs.
NRMP
This is the national matching program which allows students to select and then "match" in their residency program.
ERAS
This is the computerized residency application process, used for the majority of programs.
Early Match Programs
The San Francisco Match is for those students applying for residency programs in Neurology, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology, and Plastic Surgery.
Urology Match
This electronic application service is for the Urology match only.
USMLE
This site will link you to the National Board of Medical Examiners who is responsible for administration of the licensing exam.
Medical Careers
This site helps students do self assessments and preview various specialties, assisting them in making choices.
Learning Modules
This is a site designed for medical students to challenge them to think and review clinical material.
WV Board of Medicine
This is the official site of the WV Board of Medicine which grants licensure to physicians in the state of WV.
