NOTICES:
ALL STUDENTS - UPDATE YOUR SOLE DEMOGRAPHIC PAGE ASAP! For those who have not done so, take care of both your SOLE demographic page update (ALL items) as well as your Health Insurance Information.

ALL STUDENTS: On July 18, your HSC mailboxes will no longer exist. If you are in Morgantown, please clean out your mailbox before Friday.

HSC LOCKERS BEING MOVED: The Office of Student Services has been informed that the yellow lockers listed below assigned at 1st year orientation are being moved. They will be moving these specific lockers on July 25, so your locker will need to be cleaned out no later than Thursday, July 24. If your locker is not cleaned out by July 24, items left in lockers will be thrown out. If you do not remember your locker number or combination, it is on your SOLE demographic page. On July 28, lockers 190-264 will be located outside Student Health on the ground floor and lockers 444-566 will be located in the long hallway between Family Medicine and the Dentistry clinic. If your lockers are not listed here, you do not have to clean out your lockers.

FALL REGISTRATION: ALL STUDENTS must register through MIX by July 15 as per the class emails sent the past few weeks. See attachment with courses for all levels all campuses. Contact your Student Services Office if you have any questions.

FALL INVOICES will be posted online approximately July 25th. Payments are only accepted online.

STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS wishing to present their Organization to the Class of 2012 may do so by participating in the MS1 Orientation Friday, August 15, 8:00 - 11:30 am, and/or submitting handout information. Complete the attached and return to this address by August 4th.

EVENTS:
The WVU's Center of Excellence in Women's Health will be holding their second "Women in Wellness Retreats" on July 26 at Heston Farm in Fairmont. Students are needed for: helping to develop educational modules and/or volunteering to help at the retreat. Community hours are available for this (hour for hour). You are also welcome to attend (no service hours for this). Please contact Ms. Betty Critch at 293-2895 if you are interested.

FIRST YEAR ORIENTATION, CLASS OF 2012: August 11-August 16. Watch for these new members to the School of Medicine.

Osler Module: Those interested in attending the Family Medicine Journal Club, it will be held at HFFM on Wed. 16th from 5:00-6:00pm. Journal Club is held on the third Wed. of the Month at Harpers Ferry. The article for discussion will be forwarded to Osler Module members. Attendance is optional, but recommended.

Mini-week orientation schedules will be distributed this week. Students will spend one week with each of their assigned preceptors.

Please be advised that due to a conflict with ACLS and another meeting, the Parent and Spouse Orientation-scheduled for July 18th 12:00-4:00pm, may be rescheduled to September. The new date is pending.

Eastern Panhandle Medical Society- Meeting, Wed. Aug. 13, at the Bavarian Inn. Dr. Jacques will be introducing all of the new MSIII’s.

Call Questions-There have been several questions regarding hospital call and the schedule. The regular call schedule will begin on Aug. 4th, however students will be urged to spend one or two call nights with each of their preceptors and some of the MSIV’s that are rotating at the hospital during the four mini-weeks of the concentrated clerkship.
