COMPLETION OF ACADEMIC FILES AND TRANSCRIPT REQUESTS: The MS3 Clerkship Departments are completing their online grading process as well as their Honors designation process. We will notify you when all is done and complete transcripts can be ordered.
MS 3/Class of 2011:
CLINICAL SKILLS WORKSHOP: Mark you calendar. ATTENDANCE REQUIRED. Monday, July 27. More details forthcoming.
MS 2/ Class of 2012:
TOUR GUIDES ARE NEEDED FOR MS1 ORIENTATION Thursday, August 13, 1-5 pm. If you are available, please respond to this email.
COMPLETION OF ACADEMIC FILES AND QUARTILES: Your academic files are at this time still incomplete for all first year narratives. We will keep you posted. You will receive notification in September at your MS2 Orientation (date still being set) of your final academic quartile from your first year curriculum. Thank you for your patience.

Community Service Opportunities for All Students:
BIKE DAY - FRIDAY, JULY 10 - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Suncrest United Methodist Church's Summer Camp - Health and Safety Week - "Bike Day" on Friday July 10. Able to give a short/ kid friendly talk on head injuries and why it is so important to where a helmet when riding a bike, roller blading and so on. There would be approximately 25 children between the ages of 6-11. Contact Emma Carver, MissCarver@gmail.com , 228-344-8675, by 2:00pm on Thursday I would appreciate it.

ERAS tokens are being distributed this week.
Updated Health Cards for WVU students can be picked up from the Student Services Office or mailed. Please let us know your preference.
Please remember to stay in touch with the Student Services Office while you are on your MSIV rotations. You are responsible for making sure that your evaluations are sent in. Please keep a copy of your evaluation form on your computer.
Research Opportunity for 3rd and 4th year medical students working with a local physician on endocrinology cases. One case involves Bartter's Syndrome being controlled with a specific drug and a second case involving Dx of Acromegaly with physical signs and Hx. Students interested in working on research or having work published are encouraged to apply. Please contact the Student Services Office for more information.
