Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program

The School of Nursing Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program is recognized by health care agencies as providing students with excellent preparation for the nursing profession.  Graduates are in great demand and enjoy a large number of career opportunities.  The program is fully accredited by the Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing.

The program prepares college students to begin professional nursing practice with clients of all ages in any health care setting.  Graduates are eligible for any position for the professional nurse at the start of his or her career.  The program also provides an excellent foundation for graduate study in nursing.  Students graduating from the program are eligible for licensure as registered nurses (RN) in West Virginia and all other states.
