The Advanced Parish Nurse Workshops are designed to further the training and education of current parish nurses who have been trained in the International Parish Nurse Resource Center Basic Curriculum.

Each workshop consists of 4 modules of the student's choosing (see syllabus below). Modules are comprised of reading, discussion questions and assignment submission. The student has 30 days to complete the "workshop" by emailing assignments and discussions to the instructor via email. The student may access the site at any time of the day or night. Each workshop awards 10 contact hours, at a cost of $100.00. 

This course will be offered on an on-going basis throughout the year.

This continuing education activity has been provided by West Virginia University Extended Learning in partnership with West Virginia University School of Nursing and Hospice Care for 30 contact hours.  Hospice Care is an approved provider of continuing education by the State of West Virginia Board of Examiners for Registered Professional Nurses, Legislative Rule 19CSR 11-4 under provider number WV96-0060RN.
