PhD in Nursing Program

Preparing nurse scholars/educators for roles in teaching, service, and research.

This 54 credit part-time program is designed for working educators and practitioners and can be completed in four years plus the dissertation.  Students attend class two days a week in Morgantown, WV for a six-week summer semester taking six credits of core nursing courses for four summers.  The 18 hours of cognate/electives can be taken in the fall and spring semesters at a university near the student's home.
