KIDS FAIR 2005:
The annual WVU Children's Hospital Fair will be held Saturday, April 9 from 10 - 6 at Morgantown Mall. The School of Nursing will be doing pediatric blood pressures and we are creating a game of tic-tac-toe featuring safety and nutrition questions. We have lots of prizes for the kids that stop by. This fair is a great way for students to earn community service hours. You will receive double hours for hours worked. It's always fun and this is a great time for kids to interact with nurses - sometimes they only see nurses when they are sick or getting shots - you can show them how fun nurses can be! Please sign up for at least 4 hours - you can work all 8 if you choose. Sign up with Betty Jurick in the Health Restoration department and plan on spending Saturday at the Fair!
PAPER PRODUCTS RECYCLING:
Interest has been expressed in restarting recycling here at the HSC. If you would like to be a representative from the School of Nursing to the planning group, please contact G. Anne Cather, MD, Associate Dean of Student Services and Professional Development, WVU School of Medicine, at 293-2408.
