WVU adopts one summer term in 2007
WVU’s summer session will now become one term. For summer 2007, the term will be May 21 to Aug. 10 instead of two summer terms each lasting six weeks as was done in the past. A single 12-week term is being implemented to allow faculty more flexibility when offering courses. Faculty can schedule any combination of weeks from one to 12 (1, 3, 6, 9-week courses). Students will also benefit by being able to use University facilities such as the Student Recreation Center for the whole summer when enrolled in summer courses of any length. The summer schedule of courses and online course search will be available in March.
