SUMMER BSN COURSES
Plans are now being made to schedule summer nursing courses.   It is possible to complete a full semester of nursing courses during the summer.  Undergraduate students who would like to be considered for junior or senior level nursing courses should submit a written request by email to Dr. Shelton at eshelton@hsc.wvu.edu by January 23, 2007.  Even if your progression plan calls for summer course work or you have already discussed this possibility with faculty, you must submit a written request.  If you were selected for summer classes last year, you still need to submit a request this year.  The only exception to this is students in the BS/BA to BSN program, who have earned at least a C in all nursing courses, and students in the RN to BSN program.  Students are selected for summer classes based on academic achievement and space availability.  To qualify, students must have a GPA over 3.0 and cannot have earned less than a C in any nursing courses.  Courses run over a 12 week summer session from May 21-August 11, 2007.
