SCHOOL SUPPLIES & CLOTHING REQUESTED FOR IRAQI SCHOOL CHILDREN
Nursing Student Caitlyn Sauritch is collecting items to send her boyfriend who is in the Air Force and stationed near Balad Iraq.  His squadron is requesting donations of school supplies (pencils, notebooks, bookbags, crayons, pencil bags, etc.) and children’s clothing.

These wonderful Air Force men and women are seeking these donations for the children from Al Khiderah Primary School, located near their deployment area.  It’s great to help out our soldiers trying to make a positive difference in an awful place.  If you have any questions, please email Caitlyn at csauritc@mix.wvu.edu.  A box is located in the front of Health Restoration – let’s fill it up a few times!  We have filled the box once – let’s do it one more time!

WVU STUDENT RECREATION CENTER EXPANDS "ASK THE EXPERT" SERVICE
The WVU Student Recreation Center's popular Ask the Expert service has expanded its service by adding a blog to its question-and-answer approach to helping members become more healthy.   Students will now be able to see answers to frequently-asked health questions online via the WVU Wellness and Nutrition Initiative Ask the Expert blog. The blog can be accessed at http://wellnessinfo.blogs.wvu.edu.

KEEP BRINGING YOUR USED PC CARTRIDGES TO HEALTH RESTORATION
We continue to raise funds for the Humane Society - $4 for every used cartridge – save the dogs and cats and the landfill as well!  The animals need you!  This is a year round project!  We have donated over $2,000 with our used cartridges.  Thanks so much contributing to this ongoing project.  Save your cartridges over the summer for our animals.

UPDATE:  You have donated over 100 cartridges already this summer – we are ready to contribute another $400 to the Humane Society.  Good job!  Way to go!
