RUBY EMPLOYEE HEALTH LOOKING FOR NURSING STUDENT VOLUNTEERS
Students are needed to do a pre-pilot data collection for approx. one week, and then
a post-pilot collection period 2 weeks later. Students would be roaming the 7 East
Nursing Unit, observing types of patient lifts that are occurring by the nursing staff
and keeping record similar to a tally sheet. We would also need commitment for weekend
hours as well. This is a great opportunity for community service hours and to be involved
in a research study. If you're interested and for more information, please contact
Kathleen Hamperian RN,BSN,CCM, Employee Health Department
hamperiank@wvuh.com or call 304-598-4000 ext. 73068.

KEEP BRINGING YOUR USED PC CARTRIDGES TO HEALTH RESTORATION
We continue to raise funds for the Humane Society – The small pc cartridges we are
donating are worth around $1 and the large cartridges bring in $4 each – This continues
to be a worthwhile project, saving the animals and the landfill as well. The Humane
Society truly appreciates your efforts! This is a year round project! Unfortunately,
the need never goes away!
