MARK YOUR CALENDARS!  WVUH CHILDREN’S HEALTH FAIR – APRIL 14!!
This is the fun Health Fair – you can wear your scrubs and interact with the thousands of children who attend the Fair – we will be doing blood pressures and playing safety and nutrition games along with Tic-Tac-Toe.  Our objectives at this Health Fair are to talk to the kids about nutrition and safety and let them know that nurses are fun and kind and wonderful, not just the person who gives them shots or sees them when they are sick or hurt.   We have also been asked to help with some of the characters that walk around the Mall and visit with the kids.  The Fair runs from  10a – 5p with a few minutes of cleanup at the end.  " Please sign up for a minimum 3.5 hour shift, 10a - 1:30 and 1:30 - 5p. You are welcome to work the entire Fair if you want. Please e-mail bjurick@hsc.wvu.edu to sign up."
