SAVE THE DATES! HEALTH FAIRS ARE COMING UP!
Saturday, April 12 – The annual Children’s Hospital Health Fair will be held at Morgantown Mall Baloonsfrom 10-6p – this is the fun fair, where we play games, teach safety and nutrition and just interact with the kids – our purpose is to show kids that nurses are fun and kind – not just the people they see when they get shots or are sick. This Fair is more like a carnival atmosphere, but we do offer blood pressure screenings and education information. We will have a lot of kids visiting us. It will be fun and busy!

BaloonsSince the Fair is on Saturday, you can receive double community service hours – Dress will be scrubs. More information as the time gets closer. Great way to have fun and get community service hours.

Thursday, April 10 – The Diabetes Health Fair will be in the lobby on April 10th from 8am to 4pm. We will provide finger sticks for those who choose to have their blood glucose done via a finger stick. If you might be interested in helping with this Fair, please e-mail Linda Metcalfe metcalfel@wvuh.com.

KEEP BRINGING YOUR USED PC CARTRIDGES TO HEALTH RESTORATION
We continue to raise funds for the Humane Society – The small pc cartridges we are donating are worth around $1 and the large cartridges bring in $4 each – This continues to be a worthwhile project, saving the animals and the landfill as well. The Humane Society truly appreciates your efforts! This is a year round project! We just turned in another 80 cartridges! Great job – keep them coming – unfortunately, the need never goes away!
