NSG 334 AND NSG 322 FOR FALL 2006:
The schedule for NSG 334 and NSG 322 has been changed for the Fall 2006 semester.  Both courses will meet for the entire semester, with NSG 334 meeting on Mondays from 1pm to 3:50 pm, and NSG 322 meeting on Tuesdays from 2 pm to 3:50 pm.  Student schedules will be adjusted to reflect this change.  Students will still have clinical rotations as originally scheduled.
If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Shelton at eshelton@hsc.wvu.edu.

TIPS TUTORS NEEDED FOR FALL:
We are now accepting applications from students who are interested in being peer tutors for the TIPS program for the Fall semester.  These are paid positions, at $9.00/hour, 3 hours per week, for 15 weeks.  Requirements for tutors are an overall grade point average of at least 3.25 and at least a B in each nursing course previously taken.  Peer tutors can tutor in courses they have previously completed, or in courses in which they are enrolled for the Fall semester.  Tutors are needed for NSG 221, NSG 322, NSG 334, NSG 351, NSG 356, and NSG 421.  If you are interested in being a peer tutor, please contact Dr. Shelton at eshelton@hsc.wvu.edu and indicate which course you are interested in tutoring.

CHARLESTON BOOKSTORE:
The Charleston bookstore has closed its doors, so all RN-BSN and MSN students need to order books through the HSC Main campus bookstore. Students can order and purchase textbooks through the website www.whywaitforbooks.com and select "West Virginia" and "WVU/Health Science" in the drop down windows. It will then prompt you to select the Term, and the course number.  Since some courses have more than one section, make sure that you select the section with the instructor for which you are registered.  Books will be shipped to the student.

BROWN BAG RESEARCH LUNCH:
The next Brown Bag Research Lunch, sponsored by Sigma Theta Tau Alpha Rho, will be held on May 19th, 12:00-1:00PM, Room 8A65 on the 8th floor of Ruby.  (Note that this is a change from the previously announced room).   Dana Rexroad will present, "Evidence-based practice in the operating room".
