Message of the Week
May 01, 2007
PLEASE BE CAREFUL GOING HOME
As you complete your finals and head for home for the summer or for a short time before heading back here for summer school or to begin the next leg of your life’s journey (NCLEX, of course), enjoy this time – these truly are the best times of your life. Be careful - we want you back as a student or as an alum! Next week we will honor our May 2007 graduates.
TIPS tutors are needed for the Fall semester.
Tutors are paid $9 per hour or have the option of earning community service hours for tutoring. To be considered, students must have earned at least a B in the course they are interested in tutoring. If interested, contact Dr. Shelton at eshelton@hsc.wvu.edu.
HEALTH SCIENCES LIBRARY – TRIAL PERIOD OF EXTENDED HOURS
The Health Sciences Library is going to have a trial period of extended weekend hours through Friday, June 8, 2007. The new hours will be:
Friday 8 AM - 11 PM
Saturday 10 AM - 11 PM

In addition, the library is planning to install two additional printers, one near the first floor study rooms, and one at the entrance to the learning center balcony on 2nd floor.
The Library staff will be monitoring use of the library and study rooms during the extra hours and will use this usage data to make a decision as to whether or not to extend library hours starting with fall semester.
