WVU Department of Clinical Pharmacy research focuses in the following areas:

The Department of Clinical Pharmacy in the School of Pharmacy at West Virginia University consists of faculty members with diverse research interests and areas of expertise. Areas of specialization of the full-time clinical pharmacy faculty include ambulatory care, community pharmacy, drug information, geriatrics, nephrology, internal medicine, family practice, psychiatry, infectious diseases, hematopoiesis, oncology, pediatrics, pharmacokinetics, and poisoning/toxicology. Part-time faculty provide additional expertise in the areas of ambulatory care, anticoagulation, and bone marrow transplantation, among others. The clinical faculty are interested in conducting research in several broad areas within their individual areas of specialization, including: educational research, practice-related research, and laboratory-based research with clinical applications.
