Society News (P-1,2,3,4): Congratulations to:

P-3 Andrew Herndon who became engaged to Summere Saville (School of Nursing, Class of 2007) on July 14th. A September 2007 wedding is being planned.

P-2 Ryan Cassidy who married Joe Nichols on July 22. The wedding took place outside on a farm in White Day (between Fairmont and Morgantown)., followed by a honeymoon in the Riviera Maya. The Nichols now live in Fairmont.

P-2 April Tomlinson became engaged to Tony Jafari, a 2006 WVU Nursing grad on August 14, 2006.

MIXER TONIGHT (P-1,2,3,4): SOP Student Mixer begins at 8 tonight at De Lazy Lizard on High Street.

Lab Coats (P-2,3,4): Upperclass students wanting to order one or more lab coats will be able to do so by completing an order form that will be placed in each student's mailbox by the end of this week. Deadline for ordering is expected to be Friday, September 8. Questions?-contact Jenn Rinkes (jrinkes@sole.wvu.edu ).

Pool Party (P-1,2,3): ASP, ASHP and NCPA will be co-hosting a pool party at Orchard Crossings on Wednesday, September 6th beginning at 5 pm. Drinks, appetizers, music and games will be provided. While the pool will be open and accessible, we will also have a rec room. Please come out and meet the members and officers of all three organizations, even if you aren't interested in swimming! See you there!

Improved Evening Bus Schedule (P-1,2,3,4): Mountain Line Transit Authority announces the addition of evening service hours for the Orange Line on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Effective Tuesday, Sept. 5, the Orange Line will offer evening service from 6:30 p..m. to 1:30 a.m. Sunday through Wednesday. The Orange Line already operates late night services on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The Orange Line route serves Westover, the Morgantown Mall, University Towne Center, Towers and downtown Morgantown. Student Scholarship Recipients Announced (P-1,2,3,4): Congratulations to the following first year students who received School of Pharmacy scholarships for the 2006-2007 academic year: Mareesa Cunningham, Julie Hull, Jessica Kreger, Leslie Lagowski, Mark Medina, Zachary Metheny, Marissa Poorman, Chelsea Rexroad, Brian Schellhaus, Crystal Stuart, Amanda Thiry, Daniel True, and Lindsay Zatezalo.
