Phi Lambda Sigma Student Pharmacist Leader of the Month (P-1,2,3,4): Phi Lambda Sigma leadership society is continuing their program to recognize the dedicated leaders within the WVU School of Pharmacy. Each month Phi Lambda Sigma members will choose a new "Student Pharmacist Leader of the Month" to be recognized based on nomination forms sent in by peers, faculty, or staff. PLS members are not eligible for this award, but all other P1s.-P4s are welcome. If someone who is nominated is not chosen one month, they may stay in the application pool to be chosen for the next month. Winners will receive a certificate and recognition on the PLS board in the 8th floor Mylan Center hallway. This would be something great to add to a CV! Nominating Forms for September are due by Monday, September 17th by 1pm in mailbox #911 or to aweitzman@sole.wvu.edu. Thank you for supporting the leaders of pharmacy!

ASP Pharmacist Month Community Service Opportunity (P-1,2,3,4): October is Pharmacist Month and we are planning some community service activities, the first of which is helping Hospice with BINGO on Saturday, October 6th. It is being held in Masontown (not far from Sabraton) from 2-8 pm. You don't have to stay the whole time, but anything you can do would be appreciated. Congrats to RHEP Drawing Winner Ben Peck (P-1,2,3,4): Benjamin Peck, WVU-SOP, Class of 2008, is one of this year's six winners of the RHEP drawing for prizes of $250 each! He qualified for this drawing by completing all RHEP evaluation documents requested of him.

Kroger Internships in Other Areas of WV (P-1,2): Kroger Pharmacy is looking for "A few good interns" to work evenings or weekends during the school year and also to come aboard for next summer, we are looking for individuals for the : Clarksburg, Buckhannon, Parkersburg, Weston areas. Morgantown internship (P-1,2,3): City Pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacy intern to work alternating Saturdays and a shift per week in a community and compounding setting-will adjust work schedule to fit class schedule. If interested please contact Larry. 304 296 3314

LKS jackets (P-1,2,3,4): LKS is selling nylon shell/cotton lining pullover hooded jackets. See attached for design and order form.

LKS shorts (P-1,2,3,4): LKS has a few WVU School of Pharmacy shorts left over from last year. The shorts are available in cotton or mesh. The shorts are blue with gold lettering.
