Volunteers needed (P-1,2,3,4): Attention! Volunteers are needed to prepare food at the Preston County Buckwheat Festival in Kingwood, WV. Proceeds go to the Preston County Volunteer Fire Department. Volunteers are needed Sunday, September 30, 2007 anytime from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. This is a great opportunity to get a lot of community service hours completed in one day. Rides can be arranged. WVUH Blue Dining Cards (P-1,2,3,4): Students wishing to get a blue dining debit card good for the mini-cafeteria in the HSC-N, the main HSC-S cafeteria or Ruby Hospital cafeteria are reminded to contact Bonnie Fields at 598-4105 to set up an account. This account can be re-loaded (even by parents) as needed.

Internship at Beckley ARH (P-1,2): Beckley ARH Hospital Pharmacy is accepting applications for student interns for Thanksgiving break, Christmas break and next summer. The pay is excellent. Contact would be Leann Umberger at 304-255-3299 or lfly@arh.org.

‘Quit Tobacco Workshop’ (P-1,2,3,4): This one-time, 3-hour session will be conducted by trained smoking cessation facilitators. The Workshop is free, and open to all students on the HSC campus (meal included in program). See attached.

ASP MRM and General Meetings (P-1,2,3): Interested in attending the Midyear Regional Meeting in Baltimore, MD with the Academy of Student Pharmacists?
