Congrats to RHEP winner Ben Peck(P-1,2,3,4): Dear former, present and future RHEP students, For the SEVENTH year, RHEP has sponsored a drawing of the names of 6 students who have completed all RHEP evaluation forms requested of them for prizes of $250 each. Eligible students had to do the following:
1) medical and dental students had to complete a Baseline Data Questionnaire
2) complete a Student Evaluation of Rural Field Experience (SERFE) for EVERY RHEP rotation completed

ALL students participating in RHEP, regardless of their school or discipline, are eligible for the drawing if they meet the above criteria. Since there are approximately the same number of students from the 3 state supported medical schools as there are students from other schools/disciplines that participate in RHEP, 3 medical student names were drawn and 3 students from other disciplines were drawn.

The winners for the ‘06/’07 academic year are:
Justin Douglas, WVU-M, 2007
Timothy Ward, WVU-M, 2009
Robert Lambert, MU-M, 2008
Lesley Watts, WVU-PT, 2007
Benjamin Peck, WVU-P, 2008
Ken Dolan, WVU-D, 2007

Each of these 6 students/graduates will receive a check for $250! Congratulations! If you would like to see the winners in years past, they are listed at the end of this email.

For those of you who have not yet graduated, it is not too late to qualify for the next drawing which will take place in August, 2008. Even if you graduate in 2008, you will still qualify for the next drawing. Medical and dental students who have not yet done a rural rotation can go ahead and complete the Baseline Data Questionnaire. Complete your evaluation(s) by doing the following:
*Log onto TRACKER at www.wvrhep.org
*Click on the "Tracker" option.
*Go to the "STUDENTS" section and select discipline and school then enter your unique student identifier (hyphens may be required: xxx-xx-xxxx) and “login”
*If you have forgotten your unique student identifier number, click where it says "contact your Campus Coordinator". You can then email your Campus Coordinator requesting your unique student identifier.]
*Select the first button that says, "Start SERFE".
*At the bottom of the cover letter, click on the button that says "I understand and wish to proceed with the evaluation". You will see a list of all of your completed RHEP rotations. Please click on each rotation listed and evaluate each rotation separately.
*If you have questions or problems, email Rose Albert at ralbert@hsc.wvu.edu

Thanks to all of you for making the evaluation of RHEP more meaningful by your participation.
